Back in the 1990s I had a collection of tunes for solo acoustic guitar, some of which I had composed and some of which were covers of older tunes. This repertoire had taken quite a few years to build up.
I used to play some of the pieces to my dear friend Douglas Adams and he persuaded me to go into the studio and record them. "Unsung" was born!
Douglas came up with the title (and a few of the tunes titles too), wrote the liner notes and got the amazing Jill Furmanovsky to take some photographs for the cover.
It was made available to buy from Douglas's H2G2 site.
I am proud of this album and it is very close to my heart, not just for the music but because of its association with Douglas whom we all miss so much!!
Here it is again available as a download only for now.
